Abandoned - Linlithgow, Scotland
Another cracker of a blue sky Scottish day means another adventure, this time to a stunner of an abandoned building near Linlithgow.
Yet another sign that I read as "Exciting things to see here, come away in!"...
Anyone who's seen my wee blog before will know that a turret always makes me happy...
Piles of stuff everywhere on this site but not often you see such a beautiful lone tree...
Loving the entryway graffiti...
The windows would have been stunning in their day, loving the barbed wire now though...
Nature has well and truly reclaimed this beautiful house...
How stunning are the colours in this beautiful flower...
Then a nice surprise around the back..access to the basement rooms...if you are brave enough...
An enchanted doorway if ever I saw one...
Basement rooms were pitch black so I was literally shooting blind and hoping for the best...
A wee wander around the grounds (if I'm honest for some fresh air and to hack up a lung because the air in the basement was rancid) and found these beauties...
Love a little outhouse too...
A comfy seat with a view if ever I saw one...definitely been "reclaimed" by nature though...
Couldn't resist another shot of the "invitation" on the way out...
A brilliant day! A gorgeous place. Definitely worth another visit, although I believe it's up for sale at the moment.
