What I Learned - Women Talking Dirty by Isla Dewar
So I think it's fairly safe to say that by now you have realised that my beating Scottish heart loves a bit of Scottish fiction with fiery Scottish women who wear their heart on their sleeves and often engage their mouth before their brain - and Isla Dewar's characters never fail to disappoint. Women Talking Dirty is no exception. What I Learned: I love this - I think at some point we all have that dawning realisation that out kids are actually smarter than us. More so than ever now with technology moving so fast (my nephew is learning coding at primary school. Coding. I'm not even entirely sure what that is!). This also reminds me of the feeling when you can see the light switch going on in their brain.
