Abandoned - Trossachs, Scotland
Out for a wee explore on a gloriously sunny Scottish day a few weeks ago and came across this beauty of an abandoned house in the Trossachs and couldn't resist a wee explore.
The old trees surrounding this house are stunning. Proper ancient woodland.
And how's this for a tub with a view?
This house is absolutely stunning from every angle...I was fascinated by the tv aerial...can't have been empty for that long really. Isn't it incredible how nature takes over?
A fairytale-esque turret if ever I saw one...
I love seeing trees growing inside places where they are not "supposed" to be...
Was lucky enough to spot another abandoned wee outhouse too - this building was not alone!
I don't suppose we will ever know now if this gorgeous thistle stone was above a window, a door or a fire place...
Look at the tree growing out of the "roof". This hardy little things has seeded almost in mid air...
A beautiful view...you can just see the water through the trees...
A last wee look at that spectacular tower...
And then some of the gorgeous nature round about. I can never resist a tree...
But then from down the hill I spotted another wee hardy tree sitting at a seemingly impossible angle!
I love that all the old tree's here are numbered. I must investigate...I wonder if this is a forestry commission thing?
There's something a little bit Game of Thrones about the gates don't you think?
I loved this adventure and will no doubt visit this brilliant wee find again.
