A Wander in Callander - The Birds
Due to my daughter's super secret and glamorous work commitments I have had quite a bit of time to kill hanging around in Callander the past few weeks and has a result have taken a LOT of pictures...so I thought I'd do something different and break them up into categories.
The sun was shining and it was a glorious day so I decided to spend some time by the river clicking away and see what would happen and I'm pretty happy with some of the results...who knew seagulls were so photogenic?
This little duck almost looks like he's cold with his neck cooried in like that...
And these two look like they are having a great game of chase...
I loved the concern from the locals about me not getting too close to this beautiful swan...they are apparently notorious for stealing people's fish and chips. The water was so dark and the light so bright that it sometimes looked like this beautiful creature was suspended in mid air...
I have plenty more pictures to come from my wander around Callander over the next few days...including some beautiful old architectural features, some stunning shop fronts and signage and a collection of quirky door features!!!
Thank for checking out this post - have a look at the complete list of all my adventure posts,
Happy Travelling!
