What I Learned - The Incomers by Moira McPartlin
Loved this book so much. Enjoyed it even more because my dad actually spent some time in Africa in the latter part of the 1950's as a small child with his parents. Having seen photographs and old video I could picture it all in my head! This book is also really relevant for today, and I think should be read to every child...it's a shame we haven't moved on that much in the last 50 years. What I Learned: (Not as many quotes as normal in this one because I was so engrossed in the story I forgot to mark the pages!!!) Great sentiment! Even the most massive of seemingly overwhelming tasks can be tackled and overcome a little bit at a time! Let's be honest, baby steps are better than no steps at all! This quote actually gave me goose-bumps. Beautiful. I will be going in search of this book now to read the rest. Really poignant and actually I think this applies to all of us. This made me smile because my mum says something like
