The One With FriendsFest 2018, Glasgow

What a great way to spend a Friday - with an impromptu visit to Comedy Central's FriendsFest in Victoria Park, Glasgow.  Daisy discovered Friend's while she was on study leave and it was amazing watching her get so excited over seeing it all for the first time..."Ross kissed Rachel!"

So first things first, Victoria Park, located in the Scotstoun area of Glasgow's West End,  is actually a beautiful place for a wander if you have never been - we will definitely be back with a picnic and to feed the ducks.  Here's my nutter pretending she's a cowgirl...

The festival has been incredible well thought out and organised, with timed tours starting every ten minutes around the 3 main apartment sets, not only ensuring that everyone gets the opportunity to see (and be photographed) with everything, but also ensuring everyone gets that all important photo opportunity with the empty set-up...here's a very excited Daisy waiting for her tour...

...and it's well worth the wee wait... on entry you are greeted with some awesome authentic props in display cases...

And then look...it's Chandler & Joeys!!!!!!  Could Daisy BE anymore excited!!!!

Foozball anyone?  (although she was a little disappointed the table wasn't making chicken & duck noises!)

Well played Comedy Central - how cool are the marquee walls...can you spot your favourite Friends quote?

One for Daisy's French teacher...Daisy excels at "Joey French" and it was a bit of a running joke on the run up to her exams...oh, da fooooooof…

This makes Daisy say awwwww every time she hears it!

And her all time friends favourite...Unagi of course...

I also have to say the attention to detail with the food trucks was incredible - I will let the pictures speak for themselves...

Thanks Comedy Central for such a brilliant unique day...now all we need is a Gilmore Girls fest to make our lives complete ;-)
