Victoria Falls, Wester Ross

You have to excuse these photo's because as you can see it was dreich horrible wet day that I ventured out to Victoria Falls, but I had driven past the sign and was determined to explore.  It was so dreich Daisy decided to stay at the cottage and read!

I am not particularly good with heights either, and coupled with the fact that I was conscious my camera was getting wet these are the best you are getting!

Autumn berries out early...

The waterfall was pretty spectacular and definitely worth a visit...I was pretty proud of myself and climbed right up to the top.

Loved this beautiful tree stump...

The colours here were absolutely stunning...

I was so impressed with the falls I walked back around for a second look...

If you look closely enough you can just make out Evie, our old VeeDub in these pictures...

Thought this pile of logs was pretty too...I have a bit of a thing about trees...

These seed pods caught my eye...the dog and I are soaked by this point or I would have hung around and taken some better pics...

Back to the van to dry off for us...
