Road to Skye Day 1 Part 3
Found a great spot to stop for dinner at 8.45pm - fantastic Forestry Commission car park at Glen Oich.
Good old pasta mixed with a tin of Campbell's Condensed Mushroom Soup - the best VW Campervan dinner around !!
Daisy certainly looks like she's enjoying it - although can you tell by the hood that the Midges were out in force - talk about a Wee Tartan Army!
Next challenge was to find somewhere without a pesky "No Parking Overnight" sign, and after a couple of false starts (or false stops you could say!) we found the beautiful "Water of Life" at Glengarry...complete with a waterfall to fall asleep listening too!

We attempted to do one of the long circular walks from here, but to be completely honest it was absolutely bucketing down with rain so we abandoned the mission - however the rain did provide a bit of a comedic insight into my 14 year old daughters potential future...in an attempt to keep her camera dry she ended up looking as if she was going to make me a Granny!!
Very scary thought!
All in all on day we covered 240 miles in 7 hours...a bit of a turtle pace but far too many exciting things to see along the way!
